Ripping good cards!!!

I was given the ready made toppers I have used on these cards and though they are not really my thing I thought I could do something with them. I used up loads of my scraps by ripping strips of relevantly coloured papers to create backgrounds for the toppers. I am quite pleased with them and will try this again making my own toppers.

Circles, circles, circles

Thought I'd start a few Christmas Cards with this challenge. First time I have used this stamp - he's got a nice smiley face!! Plenty of glamour dust and sparkly paper. Sentiments and flowers cut using Cricut Don Juan cartridge.

Commission Birthday card

This is another one that I forgot to photo before I put it in a bag!!! The mirror card doesn't help either but you get the idea. It's for a friends daughter - she asked me to make a card with her daughters name on it so here it is!

Mojo 90

Mojo 90 sketch. I used 2 new stamps for this one and then forgot to photo until it was in the cellophane!!! Colours are better in reality!

Stamp with us - Congratulations

I love this image from Magnolia stamps. It's just right for a congratulations card. The card is smaller than I usually do (5" x 5"). Paper from Dovecraft Glamour set. Sentiment from Papermania by Clare Curd stamped with SU! Elegant Eggplant ink. Image coloured with PM's and edged with SU! Elegant Eggplant Ink. Bling and bow from stash.

Sketch Saturday/Secret Crafter

I've entered this card for two challenges: Sketch Saturday and The Secret Crafter challenge - Bling. These SU! papers are absolutely great. Something Old Something New!

Here is my wedding card for this challenge. The card is SU!, paper is the Laundry Line, stamps are a mixture of SU! and Dovecraft stamped in Certainly Celery ink from SU! Ribbon and embellies from stash. Really pleased with this one!

Quick Birthday Card

A quick birthday card but my first attempt at a lollipop flower!

Stamping for the Weekend - Purple and yellow

This is my entry for the first 'Stampin for the weekend' challenge. The colours really go well together and make a nice bright card. I've had these yellow flowers hanging around for a while and just needed the opportunity to use them. The Gorjuss girl has been coloured with a mixture of PM's and Marvy's.

Spoonfull of Sugar sketch

This sketch is fun and simple. I used loads of old stash up for this. The swirls were cut with the Cricut. Stamp image was coloured with PM's and sentiment is from Papermania Sentiments from Clare Curd.

Sketch from Tiets Blog - great fun

Check out Tiet's blog here. She has some great cards on her blog and some very creative sketches. This sketch was great fun and I really enjoyed putting all the pieces together. It was hepful that all the measurements were on the sketch. I used all sorts of papers and card for this one and just tried to tone them together. All the pieces were edged with SU! Chocolate Chip Ink and the Magnolia image was coloured with PM's. Sentiment from SU! Circle of Friends set.

PS could probably do with some embellies - may add some and re-photograph!

That's better!

Papertake Weekly - Dawny's sketch

SU! card, Ink and stamps and papers. Green paper and velum from stash and sentiment from Papermania by Clare Curd. Brown ribbon from a Lindt Easter Bunny (without the bell!). The colour is much better in reality - it's more of a golden yellow.

Orange, Pink and Turquoise - 365 cards

This is the first time I have used a digi download and I think it looks OK - can't say the same for my colouring!! I used all three colours as required by the challenge.

Stamp With Us sketch challenge

I love these papers and ink from SU! Ink is Pumpkin Pie and Ruby Red, Papers are Washington Apple, stamps are from two SU! sets - Circle of friends and Simply Said. Ribbon is from stash. Circle edges sponged with kitchen towel and Pumpkin Pie Ink!

Saturday Challenge - Pink, turquoise and a hint of brown

I didn't do a card this time - found a small box which I changed instead. Have used SU! papers and chocolate chip ink. Flowers and buttons from stash. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed with is the sentiment on the top - should have done it before I stuck the paper on!

Guardian Angel

We have this thing at work where we pick a name out of a hat and become that person's Guardian Angel. So, if they are ill or just having a bad day we leave them a note or sweets or something similar to make them feel better (they never know who it is!) So this is a card for my person.
