AP's birthday

Father in Laws birthday in August and as he is a keen gardener I felt this image was perfect! Have used some old card from stash for base of card but out come the fabby SU! papers again. Images coloured with PM's. I feel the inside is a bit plain so may add something in the next few days!!! I haven't done a card with this fold before but now I have I will definitely do more - I love the way the front catches under the smaller image on the front to keep it shut! :)

Wedding Anniversary

It's the AP's (Aged Parents!) wedding anniversary in August so this is a new fold which I saw a demo of at The Range last weekend. Quite like it as it gives 3 good size areas for decoration etc. Great to use for co-ordinating papers. Have used my Magnolia Champers bucket for the main image and the sentiment was printed on the PC. Image coloured with PM's. My Minds Eye sparkly Laundry Line papers make it a very glam card - will probably appeal to Mum more than Dad!!!!!

40th Birthday

Front

Inside

I enjoyed doing this birthday card for a friend. I used my lovely SU! papers and made loads of flowers and snowflakes (!) using my Cricut machine. I tried to keep it a bit subtle as she is worried about the big 4........0!!! That's why the number is hidden on the inside.

Jewellery piccies

This is the jewellery I was telling you about. We had to chosse and take our own beads and then were shown how to make these Lariots - which are very simmple to make. We used waxed cord to thread the beads on and knotted between each group of bead to create the finished effect. As you can see they are not joined up so can be worn in a variety of ways - they tell me you can even wear them in your hair but I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to start!!

Sketch and Stamp

This was a great sketch to folow and Ienjoyde using my new stash. My cricut machine was great for cutting out the snowflakes in the mirrorboard.

365 cards sketch

This was quite a simple sketch to follow and I had some ideal paper to use for it. So using my Cricut machine and some new Christmas stamps I created this Christmas Card.

Sketch Saturday

This was a good sketch to follow and it gave me a chance to use some new papers and play with my Cricut machine. Another Christmas card - yippee!!

Secret Crafter and Raspberry Ribbons challenges

I haven't done many challenges recently so thought I would have a go now. I have combined two here. It's the first time I have used Whitewash paper and I haven't sanded it to it's full potential here but I will, with practice, make a better go of it! I sprayed some white card with Plasticote silver glitter for the circle in the middle and then stamped the image on using Stazon black ink. The red paper, ribbon, button, mirror board and silver thread are all from stash.

Mojo Monday

Cream base card and circular sentiment from SU! Papers are Daisy and Dandelion Christmas Collection - A Winters Tale. Snowflake and tree stamp are both Dovecraft stamped in Glorious Green from SU! Ribbon, gems and mirror card from stash. Looks like I'm really into Christmas cards now!!!!

Double slider

This is a great card and was a demo at The Range today. It is a variation on the penny slider with two hidden images. I have used some really old stash here although all the stamps are new from The Range the other day!! All a bargain at 99p each!! I have used SU! Chocolate Chip ink and SU! cream base card. Can't remember what the papers are although they are a Christmas set from somewhere. Gold star and ribbon from stash.

Sam - what do you think????

I've started!!!

Just thought I'd have a go at a few!!!!!! Went to the Range (again!) today with Sam and watched a demo for some card designs. The demonstrator was doing Christmas Cards which got me thinking. I had already done the ones above (using up some old stash!) but wanted something new and was scratching around for some new ideas and stash. I was persuaded to buy this months goody bag which was all Christmas stash so I'm on a roll now!!!!

Friendship cards

Hey......I'm back. It's been a few weeks and I seem to have let the time slip by. I have been doing a bit of crafting and had a few requests for cards but I have also been trying my hand at jewellery. I will post photos later. The above cards are for someone at work who is retiring and wanted cards for all her staff....so this is what I have done. She gave me a verse for the inside and the cards are all a variation on the same thing. Thanks to Sam for the original idea!!!xx
