Halloween sweets!

I made these little packets using small paper bags from Michaels and some new Martha Stewart stamps and punches. The tags are cut on my cricut and edged with SU! ink. Black ribbon from stash.

All ready for the 31st October! A new experience for us ............the neighbours have told us "either join the fun or get outta town!!"

Bright fat quarter quilt

This fat quarter pack is really bright - I also picked a bright and bold border fabric to make it stand out. I used a high loft batting to create a cuddly, warm quilt and hand quilted around each square as well as quilting three rows of stitching along the black border for detail. Not quite ready to try a pattern along the border although I did think about it! The picture below shows the quilting detail.

Table runner with fat quarters from JoAnns.

This table runner is made with 4 fat quarters only. I did use some additional fabric for the binding and stars tho'. I like these little projects as you get results quickly - I am having trouble committing to starting a large quilt !!! Although I do have another one to show you using a fat quarter pack with additional border and binding fabric - keep watching! I have top stitched the stars onto the quilt using zigzag stitch.

Baby cards

I am still making cards!!! We had some surprise news and some expected news from the UK so a quick afternoon doing one of each card! Used my Cricut machine for the shapes and words.

Thanks giving wall hanging

Another small wall hanging downloaded from the internet. I enjoyed doing this as it had a bit of a challenge with the embroidered writing (don't look too closely!!) I hand quilted the background and added the buttons to finish.

Stitches!!

We have been making these amazing coasters to sell at a fundraising event in early November. We are all really pleased with them and had quite a production line running to get them all finished. They will be packaged as the picture below shows with some home made ribbon and a hand made tag.
