Christmas wall hangings

The Stitches christmas workshop this year. Wall hanging appliqué using blanket stitch.

I found the snowman online. Felt on felt - I did 3 and made them into a wall hanging. Prairie points at the bottom.

Thanksgiving Turkey

I got this pattern at a show up at the Dulles Expo centre. So easy to do - felt on felt with blanket stitch.

A collection of cards and a couple of tags.

New card from Paper Source in Georgetown. Antique musical papers and a tea stained lace doily. Leather button, ribbons and string from stash!

Antiqued musical sheets provided the theme for this card. Grunge board coloured pale blue pulls the colour from the backing card. Ribbon, papers, jewels and paper fastener from stash.

Pale pink and chocolate are the theme. Again the musical sheets come in to use to create flowers using buttons as the flower centre. Butterfly wing grunge board covered in silver glitter and attached using small foam pads. Ribbons from stash.

Card stamped using chocolate ink. Music sheets added to create depth. Stars, buttons and ribbons from stash.
Pale blue and cream card created using SU! papers and ink. Lace and ribbon from stash. Grunge board coloured with Pro-markers to match SU! papers.

A selection of tags created using Maya Road rub-ons, ribbons and buttons from stash, antiqued music sheets and paper fasteners.

Amerihearts

Sorry - photo is rubbish!! I made a strip of Amerihearts and decided to make myself a small wall hanging by putting 4 together. A simple border finishes the design off. I have some red fabric to do the binding with - will post when complete!

Stars and Stripes

I borrowed a friends project book for this banner. It was so simple to do and I really like the finished thing! I wanted to create some US patriotic things for our home in the States as I already have loads of UK things.

18th card for my niece

I enjoy making embellished cards like this one. My Cricut machine is extremely useful and using buttons and ribbons always finish off the cards well.

Coffe time cards

I made a handful of cards to send to friends in the UK. It's the closest I'm going to get to having a cuppa with them at the moment!!
