Jazzy lap quilt!

First time I have used anything like these colours! Blocks came from a group I belong to. I love it he simple quilting and the facing instead of binding. Simple yet effective.

Extension and redecoration finally finished!!

Have had the builders here for 8 weeks and they have finally finished ( inside... anyway!) really pleased with the final effect, just what I imagined! ( better actually!) it will look even better when the patio is finished.

Submariners quilt!

Had a request for a double bed quilt for a lone submariner living in Faslane. I think he likes it! Can anyone tell me what the flags say? If you know your John Mills films you should get it!!!!!!

A few more gifts..........

I bought myself a new sewing machine and its LOVELY!!!! Really enjoying playing with it. I treated myself to a couple of extra feet but it came with loads. I had to look them all up on the Internet to find out what they did! Anyway , photos of my two latest projects attached.

Painted doors

Doors painted and waxed. Stencil painted in black acrylic , distressed then waxed.

Reds and creams

A simple lap quilt in reds and creams. Quilted on the diagonal.

Painted patriot

Managed to find this fab oak table at Goodwood antiques fair. A bit of masking tape and some different colours of wood stain and this is what you get. A coat of varnish to finish!
