I love the colours of this card and it was fun to make although it is a very simple single layer card with just a few toppers. The flowers are Papermania and the ribbon and buttons are all from stash.

I'll have another go at that!
I thought I would have another go at a pop up box card. I love this stamp from Clare Curd at Papermania. These cards are so simple (when you know how!!) and they look really impressive. Image stamped with SU! Aubergine classic ink and coloured with Marvy's. I used SU! bashful blue card and cream card from stash. Papermania striped ribbon and blue paper flowers. Brads and silver band from stash.

Spoonful of Sugar Challenge 42
Sunday, 8 March 2009
This is a simple card using my new Sugarnellie stamp 'Claudia the Artist' .........something I'm not.........yet!! A simple A4 cream card folded lengthways. Green card from stash stamped with SU! Wonderful Words set in Celery Classic Ink. Claudia stamped in the same ink and then coloured with watercolours and finished with Glamour Dust.
This is a variation of the card we created at my first SU! party. Cream card cut along the length of A4 and folded. Stamped all over in Aubergine ink (SU!) using floral heart from SU! Simply Said set. Lilac card from stash stamped with Wonderful Words stamp from SU! Small heart from Xcut punch in lilac and purple card in stash and ribbon added to finish (from stash).
Another SU! project. Definitely getting the use out of my purchases. Navy card from stash cut along the length of A4 and folded. Square of cream paper stamped all over with polka dot daisy from Simply Said collection using Stazon Ultramarine ink. Pale blue paper from stash mounted on same navy card and stamped with floral stamp again from SU! Simply Said. Sticky ribbon from stash and tag attached with brad also from stash. Stamp on tag is from SU! Yummy collection. Flowers coloured with water colours.
Easter is nearly upon us.....................another search of the internet and everyone elses blogs threw up these great little baskets. Another simple challenge to get me going. All from stash except I have used my SU! ink!!! I'm really enjoying this ..................just need to expand my repetoire and get on with some more ambitious projects!
Whilst scouring the internet I found a tutorial for these great little envelopes so though I would have a go. As you can see I'm still using my SU! stamps (could wear them out if I'm not careful!). Really easy little project and makes you feel as if you have achieved something..........may sound sad but when you are new like me it's the little things that count!!! I have used the 'Simply Said' stamps and 'Yummy' collections both from SU! and the Celery classic Ink and Aubergine Classic Ink pads. Brads and ribbon from stash.
It's a friends birthday next week so.... having been to my first Stampin Up ! party I thought I would use some of my new goodies! Cream card folded to create long narrow landscape card. Stamped all over with Celery Classic Ink using Daisy polka dot stamp from Simply Said collection. Green strip of card (from stash) stuck vertically on top of caramel strip stuck horizontally and two more daisy stamps in celery ink attached with gold brads from stash. Final sentiment from Wonderful Words collection from SU! stamped on green leaf vellum and attached over caramel paper. Caramel ribbon tied around card to finish. I am quite pleased with the final effect and have the bug for SU! equipment........................don't tell my Hubby!!!
It's my Sister in Laws 2nd Anniversary in April. This is another card made entirely from existing stash!! Grey card folded portrait. Matchmakers black and white 6 x 6 image paper of roses cut with scallop scissors, mounted on cherry red paper then again on silver card. Photo from clipart(!) mounted on the same cherry red paper as is sentiment (printed on PC!) Small roses added from stash and images finished with glamour dust. Sorry about my fingers ........ needed to hold card shut to stop reflection from flash!
I made this card for my nephews birthday. Cream card from stash. Spotty paper from Dovecraft 6 x 6 masculine paper pack. Ribbon and dark blue card from stash and 'Rockstar' stamp from Sugarnellie. Stamped with Stazon ultra marine and coloured using watercolour paints. Guitar finished with Glamour Dust.
