I didn't have the download so went for the colours instead! I think the glasses must be full of a watermelon cocktail!! I love this lime green and pink combo. xoxox

Raspberry Ribbons sketch
Promarker Challenge!!
Friday Sketchers Sketch
I really enjoyed completing this sketch and using all my new SU! stash (kindly delivered on Tuesday by my friend Sam)It's nice to have real quality materials to create a great card. Papers are from the Sweet Always set. Sentiment from Circle of Friendship set stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink. Image edge sponged in Pumpkin Pie Ink. Image from Gorjuss Girls set 1 coloured with PM's and Marvy's. Base card, white card, pink card, brown paper and brown dots from stash. I am finally getting the hang of the PM shading (pleased with this ones hair!!)- got some great help from another blogist (Wiccababe)!
Papertake Weekly - Scrap this!
I stuck loads of scraps to another piece of paper and cut out the flower shape with my Cricut machine. I cut a further flower from the dark pink paper and mounted it all on pink foam using a brad. There is also a layer of acetate between the pink flower and the large flower. Highlighted with a white gel pen. Definitely using my scraps up!!!
365 Cards - Anniversary
I've used my new SU! papers from the Tea and Crumpets set. Managed to get in on the deal for May and buy four packs for the price of three! Card is also SU! Sentiment is by Clare Curd at Papermania stamped in Chocolate Chip ink from SU! The champagne bucket is a Magnolia stamp coloured with PM's (I'm getting better at shading!) Ribbon and sequins from stash and I have added Glamour Dust to the bottles and bucket. Hope you like!

Saturday Challenge - New Beginnings
I love doing these straight forward cards! The simple lines and tones of one colour look really sophisticated. New papers are from My Minds Eye Laundry Line Glitter Pack (a new purchase - don't tell hubby!) I've chopped the right hand edge of the card off in this photo - will try to retake later! So much for being a photographer as well!

365 Cards - Matching card and envelope
I don't think this is a bad attempt! I'm still getting used to my Promarkers - The Gorjuss Girls face on the card is not brilliant! Never mind - I'll just keep practicing! Good job hubby is away at the moment although kids now home from school and complaining that the kitchen table is out of use (well I've got to do this somewhere!!)
Just had a look at the close up photo - YUK!!

Promarkers rule!!!
Yum Yum Yum - look at these!!! A new purchase..............lets have a go!!!!
Here it is - my first attempt at using Promarkers. You had better all let me know what you think? I'm quite pleased myself. The blending is quite easy once you have played around for a while. I still need to practice- but I don't think it's a bad first go! Sorry about my finger! (The sentiment is behind the flap and I had to hold it shut so you could see!)

Plus, of course, a bit of glamour dust on the bubbly. (all coloured with Marvy's)

Papertake Weekly - Dawny's sketch
Finished cotton bag!
I've finally finished my cotton bag. The pictures are the wrong way round. The bottom one is the front! I used a layer of wadding to thicken out the bag a bit and some webbing for the handles. I hadn't done applique before and I am really pleased with the result. I was going to put a button and loop on but forgot to sew in the loop - ce la vie! It looks good as it is!

Birthday cracker and confetti case
I really enjoyed experimenting with card for this cracker shaped box which holds a bottle of perfume. The present is for a friends daughter and when I got it home I thought I'm going to try something different! I measured around the box, the length and then planned it on a sheet of A4 card. The ends are just curves twisted together to seal the box. I know you can't really see from the picture but you can see it looks good! Decorated with Docraft papers , ribbon and fabric flower (free with a mag!) Hope you like it? I also did a confetti case except it has a badge in it!!!! (well you have to have a badge when you are 15!)
Happy Birthday - (using the leftovers!!)

Commission painting
Paintings
These are a couple of bits of art I have done for my bedroom at home. The bottom one is above our bed and is about 2 feet x 1.5 ft and the Pieris is about a foot square (you can see by the date that it was done a couple of years ago - just never had anywhere to show it off until the blog!). They are both painted in acrylic on canvas box frames. Let me know what you think?

Cotton Bag
I know - it's not finished yet but I'm working on it!!! I've done a bit of applique on the front and back of this shopping bag. The lining is floral, similar to Cath Kidston but not!!!! It will have handles and possibly a button closure. I will publish again when it's finished.
We had a craft afternoon where I work and this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think??
PS it needs a good press!

Needlework sampler
I did this a while ago but thought I would show you some of my needlework. It's created using layers of fabric underneath layers of voile in a patch work fashion. Once pinned together you pick out patterns and highlight it with embroidery silks and beads to create a picture/pattern. This one is about a foot square and I have framed it in a box frame. It looks great in my dining room.
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - B&W + 1
I just lurvve Hedghogs - so this stamp was my immediate thought for this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge. I had used the colours before and knew they worked - it was just getting the daisies (!) right. I used my Cricut for the sentiment ( new toy!) and covered it with glamour dust. The daisies I highlighted with stickles. Hope you like it?
